THE COASTAL CUTTLEFISH

The Coastal Cuttlefish have been a perennial powerhouse since the creation of the league. Led by their Captain and 3x MVP, Nate Moncrief, the Cuttlefish hold 2 World Series titles. Their current roster is a family affair with Jacob Moncrief (brother of Nate) and Ammon Pond (Cousin of the Moncrief brothers) stacking the team’s lineup with big power. Rookie standouts Alex Seme and Gavin Hull round out the bullpen and veteran presence Val Vornicu now hits dingers.

NATE “COACH NATE” MONCRIEF

For a guy with such scrawny legs, boy oh boy does Nate “Coach Nate” Moncrief bring the power. It doesn’t make sense, and frankly it’s a little suspicious. Then he hops on the mound and by the time you figure him out, you’re already walking back to your beach chair.

ALEX “THE SPICOLI SLAMMAH” SEME

This isn't Mr. Hands class room, this is the real deal! While others play small ball, I unleash slammahs- towering moonshot homeruns that clear walls, rattle rooftops and sends the team into a frenzy. Nothing but yeeting wiffleballs into orbit, turning every at bat into a full blown firework show but if this doesn't happen then I just strikeout. My name is Alex aka Spicoli Slammah!

JACOB “CONCRETE JACK” MONCRIEF

The self-proclaimed significantly more handsome and significantly less talented of the Moncrief brothers, Jacob has played wiffle ball in his grandma’s backyard for two decades with his Coastal CUDDLEfish teammates Nate (brother) and Ammon (cousin). He loves to play wiffle ball, and his favorite dessert is brownies à la mode.

AMMON “PONDMAN” POND

Ammon “Pondman” Pond has played on a total of 4 teams in the BBWL, the most of any player in the league. He’s a lefty power threat who eats, sleeps and breathes all things baseball. Ask him about that one time he was on TV for 44Pro.

GAVIN “MERICA” HULL

New to the league in Season 7, Hull is known for his love of freedom and well-scuffed wiffle balls. He’s always swagged out in an American flag arm sleeve and has American flag tape on his bat. He throws a tight slider and is usually on the bump game 1 for the Cuttlefish.

VAL “THE BLASTER” VORNICU

Val “The Blaster” Vornicu is known for both his love of peanuts and his ability to get on base in the playoffs (and playoffs only). Vornicu has played all 7 seasons in the BBWL and recently hit his first career home run.
