Pacific Pelicans

The Pacific Pelicans are built with soaring potential. With 2 rookies on their roster, they rely heavily on their veteran players to mentor the young chicks (that’s a baby Pelican). Led by Captain Max Wenneker, this team is gritty and knows how to grind out W’s (often in swing-offs).

Max “Wennekah” Wenneker

The Captain of the Pacific Pelicans, “Wennekah” inherited the team prior to the start of Season 6. He was tasked with bringing in some veteran talent on his favorite airplane, a Boeing 737 (he’s an airplane guy). He also played D3 baseball at WashU.

Shane “O’Brizzy” O’Brien

O’Brizzy sales are up! (Except when he hurts his elbow… or thumb). When healthy, O’Brien can sling it with the best of ‘em. A veteran of the BBWL, he features some of the most movement of any pitcher in the league.

Adam “Talp” Talpalatsky

Whether it’s trying to plead his case that he caught a ball or not backing down from contact at first base, Adam “Talpatio” Talpalatsky brings some spice to his game. Although he prefers “Talp,” we can’t ignore the flavor he brings to his game (and we love him for it).

Charlie “Chuck” Bush

Long known for the dreadlocks he had for 10+ years, Chuck shaved his head when he was traded from the Cuttlefish to the Pelicans ahead of Season 7. One of the most athletic guys on the field, Chuck flies around the bases and contorts his body on the mound to show hitters numerous different arm slots.

Aidan “A-Dog” Kelly

A Season 7 rookie, Kelly is known for making an impression at the Rookie Showcase by wearing a Paul Skenes shirsey. Word on the street is Livvy Dunne is in his DM’s when he launches nukes into Mission Bay.

Brian “Ceppi” Ceppi

Nicknamed “Ceppi” (yes, we know this is just his last name), Brian “Ceppi” Ceppi has been quoted saying: “Nothing better than being with the boys on a Saturday morning on the beautiful bay playing wiff! Go Pels!”
